1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of Programme Insights (“the platform”), operated by Programme Insights Ltd. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
If you are using the platform on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these terms. References to “you” include both you as an individual and the organisation you represent.
2. What the platform does
Programme Insights is an AI-powered document assessment platform. You upload documents, the platform assesses them against configured criteria frameworks, and produces scored findings with evidence citations tied to specific pages and paragraphs in your source material.
The platform is a decision-support tool. It does not replace professional judgement, legal advice, or formal assurance processes. Assessment outputs are designed to augment human review, not substitute for it.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. One account per person — do not share your credentials with others.
If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, notify us immediately at james@programmeinsights.co.uk.
4. Your documents
You retain full ownership of all documents you upload and all assessment results generated from them. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.
You grant us a limited licence to process your documents solely for the purpose of providing the assessment service. This licence terminates when you delete your documents or close your account.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and share any documents you provide to the platform.
5. Our intellectual property
The platform, its assessment methodology, criteria frameworks, scoring algorithms, and user interface are owned by Programme Insights Ltd and protected by intellectual property law.
You may not copy, reverse-engineer, decompile, or redistribute any part of the platform.
Assessment reports generated for you are yours to use, share, and distribute as you see fit. The underlying methodology and criteria frameworks remain ours.
6. Data handling
See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data. In summary:
- Your documents are processed in Azure UK South and never leave UK jurisdiction
- Your documents are not used to train AI models
- Your data is deleted on request or on account termination
- We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest
7. Availability and support
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for any loss arising from temporary unavailability of the platform.
Support is available via email at james@programmeinsights.co.uk during UK business hours (Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm GMT/BST, excluding public holidays).
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload documents you do not have the right to share
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with security controls
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or overload the platform
- Share your account credentials with others
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform or its infrastructure
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
9. Assessment accuracy
Programme Insights uses deterministic AI to assess documents against specific criteria. Every finding is cited to source material — specific pages and paragraphs in your documents.
However:
- AI assessment is not infallible
- The platform is designed to augment professional review, not replace it
- You should not rely solely on platform outputs for critical decisions without independent verification
- We do not guarantee that the platform will identify every gap, risk, or compliance issue in your documents
The quality of assessment outputs depends in part on the quality and completeness of the documents you provide.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid to us in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim
- We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- We are not liable for decisions made based on assessment outputs
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
11. Subscription and payment
Subscription terms and pricing are agreed separately between you and Programme Insights Ltd. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice of any changes to pricing.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your current paid period. On cancellation, your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We are not obliged to provide refunds for unused portions of a subscription period unless required by law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you should stop using the platform.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
14. Contact
